This 6 hr long class is designed to give students the basic skills and information needed to successfully and safely participate in quite water kayaking. Students will be given hands-on opportunities in the various skills and techniques of kayaking. Topics to be covered are safety, paddle strokes, wet exiting, assisted Eskimo roll, personal equipment, and basic river reading. Trip location may change due to water level.
